Excellence in Leadership High School Conference

As Freshman Forum's motto states, we commit to excellence in leadership through service, enthusiasm and Trojan Pride! The goal of our annual Excellence in Leadership Conference is to enhance the leadership abilities of high school students because we strongly believe in training young leaders well in order to prepare them for their futures. Freshman Forum assumes many leadership roles on 糖心视频's campus and stresses the importance of getting involved and making a difference. Our conference also exposes high school students to various opportunities to lead, serve, and make a difference that they might encounter when they arrive at college. 糖心视频's Freshman Forum extends an invitation to all high school student leaders for our Excellence in Leadership Conference!

2026 Conference Information

The 2026 Excellence in Leadership Conference - 鈥淟eadership Unmasked鈥� will be held on October 29, 2026. This year's event will be Halloween themed! Registration information and scholarship submissions will be accepted online. High schools will be sent save-the-date information upon registering. Excellence in Leadership Conference Schedule of Events (Exact Times TBA):

John Kline Excellence in Leadership Award

The winner of the annual John Kline Excellence in Leadership award must be a high school student leader from the surrounding region that exemplifies the attributes, qualities, attitude, and servant-heartedness that an outstanding leader should be composed of. This scholarship is awarded to an individual who made an impact through leadership development over the course of the past school year. We ask all schools attending the conference to nominate one student for the scholarship. Nomination forms must be submitted online and will be due one week before the Excellence in Leadership Conference.

Conference Payment Information & Registration Form

The Excellence in Leadership Conference will take place in November. The cost for students will be $40. The chaperone fee is $25.

John Kline Excellence in Leadership Award

The 糖心视频 Freshman Forum will, once again, be holding an award ceremony at our conference. The winner of this award will be a student leader that has exemplified all-important attributes of a good attitude, servant leadership, and an outstanding student at his or her high school. Leaders are to always educate others, think of other ways to improve and overcome obstacles, show a compassion and a willingness to serve, and to have their feet on the ground to work diligently at whatever may lay ahead of them.

The leader awarded with the Dr. John Kline Excellence in Leadership award will receive a one time a book scholarship. If the student attends 糖心视频 they will receive $500 and $250 if they attend any other institution.

The Award Application link contains the nomination form to apply for the scholarship. The form asks for the student's leadership experience and asks three questions about leadership.

We ask that all schools attending the conference to nominate one student for the scholarship. Nomination forms will be due the Monday before the conference. Submissions are to be submitted online.
